You must drink plenty of WATER (5 to 7 bottles a day), preferably starting 2 weeks prior to your appointment, but at least 4 days before your scheduled appointment, to ensure your amniotic fluid is clear and at an optimal level for your elective ultrasound session. The outcome of your images will be poor and a waste of your money if you do not have enough amniotic fluid around your baby.
Why water? Water hydrates your body. An increase in water intake normally will then increase the amount of amniotic fluid that the baby produces through its urination. This is the fluid needed and used to render your images. The more amniotic fluid in the sac, the clearer the images tend to be. Increased amniotic fluid helps to push the placenta off of the baby's face.
You may be asked to have a full bladder immediately prior to starting the ultrasound, if your pregnancy is very advanced or the fetal head is very low or if your uterus has a tilt or a variant shape. You are encouraged to follow the diet your doctor recommends, and do please eat a normal meal or snack close to your appointment time. Please be aware that we can not control the positions of the baby, but your water intake solely determines the CLARITY of your keepsake images.

Wear comfortable two-piece clothing if possible, so your abdomen is easy to access during the session. This helps us begin on time and keeps you more comfortable throughout your visit.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Clients may cancel or reschedule an appointment more than 24 hours before the scheduled time using the cancellation link provided in their confirmation email. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment time, late arrivals, or missed appointments (“no-shows”) are not eligible for refunds.
If you purchased a Two-Visit Package, it becomes non-refundable after Visit 1, except for approved compassion-based exceptions under studio policy.
No.
We always do our best to capture beautiful keepsake images, but clear pictures cannot be guaranteed. Image quality depends on many factors outside our control, including your baby’s position, fetal movement, hands or feet near the face, cord position, placental location, amniotic fluid, gestational age, maternal body habitus, uterine variations or position, and other technical or maternal anatomical limitations.
If images are limited due to these factors, we may offer a complimentary re-scan as a courtesy when appropriate. However, because appointment time, sonographer time, and studio resources have already been provided, refunds are not issued solely because clear images or desired views could not be obtained, except as stated in our posted refund policy. This matches the core picture-quality and no-refund position already reflected in your waiver.
If baby is not in an ideal position, we will make every reasonable effort to obtain the best images possible during your session. In some cases, limited views are caused by factors outside our control. When appropriate, a complimentary re-scan may be offered as a courtesy.
Yes, in some cases we may offer a complimentary re-scan when image quality is limited due to fetal position or other factors outside our control. Re-scans are offered as a courtesy, are not guaranteed, and do not guarantee improved images.
Most pictures and keepsakes provided with your package are given at the time of your appointment. If your package includes digital items or follow-up delivery, we will let you know when to expect them.
Gender determination is offered after 13 weeks gestational age and is based on the best two opposite views obtainable during your session.
While we do our best, gender views can sometimes be limited by fetal position and other technical factors.
No. This is an elective, non-diagnostic keepsake ultrasound and is not a substitute for medical care or a physician-ordered ultrasound. Any medical questions or concerns should be directed to your physician or licensed prenatal care provider.

SneakPeek Early Gender Test can be used any time starting at 6 weeks into pregnancy until birth.
How the SneakPeek Test works
While every person has their own DNA in their bloodstream, a pregnant person’s bloodstream also contains DNA from their unborn child. The SneakPeek® test looks for male chromosomes in a small sample of blood. If they’re present, the baby is a boy. If none are found, it’s a girl!
The SneakPeek gender DNA blood test, cannot confirm pregnancy.
Please confirm pregnancy with your doctor prior to taking SneakPeek.
The SneakPeek Early Gender DNA Test is a non-invasive prenatal test (NIPT), and it's safe for both expectant parent and baby.
SneakPeek looks for male DNA in the fetal DNA found in a pregnant person's blood sample. In the case of identical twins, if male DNA is found, then both babies are boys. If no male DNA is found, then both babies are girls. For fraternal twins, finding male DNA means at least one baby is a boy, but cannot distinguish if the second is a boy or girl.
SneakPeek is a DNA test that looks for male chromosomes in the cell-free fetal DNA (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cell-free_fetal_DNA)(cffDNA) found in a pregnant person's blood, a process that was first established in 1997 (https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0140673697021740)and refined in a multitude of scientific publications since. Urine-based tests have no scientific validity, as there are no gender markers in urine. See this blog post (https://sneakpeektest.com/blog/urine-vs-dna-based-gender-predictor-tests/)for more details.
